I have some spots for an evaluation on Sept. 10. I need to know ASAP.

Just a reminder, any dogs that are going to be therapy dogs, may not eat a raw protein diet. See the Deltasociety.org website for more information.

membership

We get lots of requests from people for getting involved with PAWS 4 PATIENTS. We are located in the Oak Park, River Forest, Forest Park area, just west of Chicago. We have more teams than places to put them, so we have had to limit membership to people who live in the immediate area.

There are plenty of places in the Chicago and suburbs where animal assisted therapy takes place. Check out the Delta directory for the listing of other Illinois Pet Partner teams and see where they are located.

My favorite group

I tested some wonderful dogs yesterday from a great group Indiana. The real star was a sight impaired St. Bernard, named Barney. What an inspiration!!!

Lots of dog testing this week. With the help of another evaluator, we tested 9 dogs on Sat. and 8 yesterday. More to come this Friday. There were so many cute dogs. Each one will be a star.
